because I couldn’t resist

I’m pleasantly surprised to know that my 30000th hit will come in NO TIME AT ALL, despite a dearth of good posts or sense (interestingly enough the two rarely come together).

I also feel cheated for my readers, because WHY ARE YOU STILL VISITING. THERE ARE FUNNIER AND MORE INTERESTING BLOGS OUT THERE.

  1. ._. yes. u couln’t resist. just had to do it.

btw, e prologue was good, very tantalizing, better make sure e rest doesn’t fall flat.

seeing hints of a good v evil + “chosen one” classical themes, looking forward to a web of deceit, intrigue and humanity.

i dunno context of heroes. sry…

btw. classical theory dictates a love story, best a triangle. i look forward to see where this goes, but take ur time.

we all know there’s more important things to settle first :D

  2. Thanks for commenting on the story Rich (you must be one of the only people I’ve sent it to, because a]I haven’t really bothered advertising it and b]it means too much to me to be published online without major editing).

I liked my Prologue too. Chapter One is falling flat though, an influx of so many new characters. Or rather, it WAS falling flat before it just got… ignored and untouched, which is worse.

You don’t need to know the context of Heroes well. Basically I like the idea that there are people with unique powers yet reacting to them in a very human way, something that I never quite felt was portrayed well in the comicbook superheroes of old. Heroes was created with Americans and mass appeal in mind, yet I still liked the concept very much.
