It’s settled. I’m moving my blog over to WordPress. This is my 197th post on this blog, and I will leave after my 200th.

Wait. Not that anyone cares, right? No one reads my blog anymore. I will be creating a redirection link to my new blog so no one gets lost. But update your links for mooty anyway: http://mootcanblog.wordpress.com Teeheeheee what a witty URL!

Today was the Writer’s Programme launch, or whatever! Met many friends there. It’s so amusing, how Keng Yong and I end up in the programme. I still remember how we got punished in P5 for writing racy parodies of Wrinkle in Time, HAHAHA. Remember, Bow?

Alfian Sa’at, an Old Boy, was there to “grace the occasion”. He has his own wiki article! And he’s the resident playwright of Wild Rice, according to the article, so I guess that’s all I’ve heard of his name in the papers. He was pretty cool/funny, told us how he frequented the skool library and how he stole a book he liked a lot from library.

Then the best part was, there was a reception after the whole thing! Wowee! How often are receptions open to the students? Tis the first time I’ve heard of such a thing. I guess that gang of female teachers are quite nice. (Elsa Chew was one of those in charge, lol :) )

I think I’m going to double up my efforts on Esplanade Chee. It’s what I consider my signature work so far… and I’ve got to have something to show for my efforts in case the programme mentors ask to see my works! Whom, I do not know.

I screwed up big time for English, my narrative I GOT OWNED! So no 4.0 for the first part of the year then. 76, for what I consider my best subject. I feel sad, cos most of the Lit RA people did. On the other hand, I didn’t get screwed so bad for Maths, because of my CCT, which was the only thing I did well the whole of this year… but the TAs counted for very little anyway, so I win! I scraped a 3.2 or something, and considering everyone got owned by CCT, that’s not a bad score.
